Paul: The Orange Oracle Octopus flawless bettor

"Paul predicted Spain to grab the championship title
for World Cup 2010 and was given a trophy for his outstanding service"

I really thought Oracle Paul was a human who was able to predict, or let's say who flawlessley betted, which team would win . Not until researching about him that I found out he was really an orange octopus--an English born that lives in German aquarium.

How did Paul make predictions during the World Cup games? It's simple: he would hover over the chosen box containing his food, the mussel. Each box represented the country or team. See video below to see how Paul, the Oracle Octopus, made his prediction on Spain's winning against Netherlands, with 1-0 score gained in extra time.

With his outstanding service in giving flawless prediction, Paul "The Oracle Octopus" was given a World Cup trophy.

Paul's job before the World Cup was to make children laugh with it's funny gesture in the aquarium. World Cup madness is over, Paul has to go back to his original job--entertaining children.
