On Mayweather-Pacquiao Fight Deal

Floyd Mayweather is still slient about the coming boxing match with Manny Pacquiao. And so people are speculating that maybe he's just afraid of the consequences in case he will lose to Pacquiao.

Bob Arum, the Top Rank promoter, set a deadline for Mayweather to decide on the match with Pacquiao on November 13 this year. However, he just ignored it. There are some speculations that he can't make any comment about the fight because he has simply no plans yet. Just like Pacquiao who can't fight without the service of Freddie Roach, it is also the same thing with Mayweather. His Uncle Roger is currently facing criminal charges in Nevada. When the media spotted Mayweather with Dwyane Wade during the Summer Groove basketball event in Miami, people tried to ask him about boxing match with Pacquiao. He just replied that boxing is not in his mind as of the moment. What he's all concerned to do is to enjoy life, spend quality time with the family and many others that are not about boxing.

If you're going to ask me, I am still confused with Mayweather. Previously, he belittled Pacquiao. And when Pacquiao agreed to fight him in the four corners of the boxing ring, suddenly everything's changed. He demanded a lot more requirements on the side of Pacquiao before agreeing with the fight deal. When Pacquiao accomplished them all, he demanded another seemingly impossible deal.

Mayweather-Pacquiao is the most awaited fight in boxing history...probably, the most expensive and most money-generating of all. If ever this fight deal of the two biggest name in boxing field won't happen, Pacquiao will be matched with either Miguel Cotto or the previously suspended boxer Antonio Margarito who was scandalized because of the hand wraps he used during the fight with Shane Mosley.
